Pre and Post Assessment

The whole process of assessment can feel a bit daunting at times for both instructors and students. Nonetheless, it is a pivotal part of the educational experience. Lessons should always begin with a pre-assessment stage to gauge what students already know about a topic, then move to concept checking type assessment thought the lesson, and finish with post-lesson assessment.

To help with this, the link posted here has a list of different techniques to use at each stage in the assessment process from Pre to Post Assessment. This will help ensure that these steps are not skipped, and they do not take a lot of time designing. Also, check out this link toa  BOPPPS lesson planning framework.
